Thomas Simpson
Thomas Simpson joined Simpson & Lillie, PLLC in August 2024.
He attended the University of Memphis, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on accounting. Thomas then went on to attend the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude in just two years. While in law school, he was a staff member of the Mississippi Law Journal and was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. While on staff at the Mississippi Law Journal, Thomas authored "Call Upon Congress to Abolish the NFL Draft," 93 Miss. L. J. 205 (2023), an article that argued the NFL Draft violated antitrust laws and called for Congress to intervene.
Before joining the firm, Thomas served as an intern for the Honorable Michael P. Mills in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi, Oxford Division, and for the Assistant United States Attorney's Office in Oxford. Following law school, he completed a one-year clerkship for the Honorable David Bramlette in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi in Natchez.
When not practicing law, Thomas enjoys spending time in Oxford with his wife and their three boys.
